MEET VICTORIA

about me

I’ve spent over six years working in education, with the past two focused specifically on instructional design. In that time, I’ve developed and refined curriculum for a range of audiences, always keeping both learner engagement and stakeholder goals in mind. I’ve worked hands-on with multiple learning management systems to build and deliver interactive content, and I’m always looking for ways to make learning more accessible, relevant, and effective.

Finding Solutions

As an instructional designer, I approach each project as both a creative thinker and a practical problem solver. I enjoy unique challenges of a learning experience and shaping effective, engaging solutions that meet both learner and business needs. A big part of my process involves close collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance. I also regularly participate in SCRUM meetings to stay aligned with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, and adapt quickly to feedback or shifting project priorities.

skills

I use instructional design models like ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, SAM, and Kemp to guide my approach and keep learning outcomes at the center of what I create. My background also includes experience in UX and graphic design, which helps me build learning experiences that are not only effective but also visually engaging and user-friendly.

software

Throughout my design process, I work with a range of tools to support content creation and delivery. This includes eLearning development software like Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, and Brainshark; design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Figma, and Canva; as well as productivity tools like Microsoft Word. I also have experience working within LMS platforms like Canvas and Moodle to upload, organize, and manage learning content effectively.
